The BRC Grade Plate Spacer 40/50mm (T) is a double-cover spacer that has been designed for use in ground floor slabs to provide a stable support to the reinforcing steel. The grade plate spacer's wide base is perfect for polythene damp proof membrane as it spreads the load, preventing polythene or gas membranes from being punctured. The product’s recommended usage is a minimum of two spacers per square metre and is ideal for use in supporting reinforcement fabric in floor slabs, or for use with plastic shuttering systems while the reinforcing bar won't slide down when used in a vertical application.
