The Polypipe Spigot Tail Cap has a spigot end for connection to a socket end pipe. It measures 117 x 117mm (W x T) and has a diameter of 110 mm. Wherever the discharge stack has a long drain connection to an inspection chamber, the product provides access for rodding and testing at or near the base of the stack. With a screw-off lid, the drainage system can be easily accessed and then screwed back again to form a plug. When ground floor appliances are connected to the soil stack, the access point should be sited above the spill-over level of the appliances. Polyvinyl Chloride, used for manufacturing this product, is resistant to moisture and corrosion and provides it strength and durability. To make installation easy, the innovative seal and snap-cap allows push-fit joints throughout. Hence, the fittings can simply be pushed onto the pipe without the need for solvent or glue. This product is suitable for short intermittent discharges of hot and cold water in normal domestic and commercial installations.
