The Visqueen Vapour Check Control Layer 50 x 4m (L x W) Green is used to prevent the risk of condensation within a structure as well as improving the airtightness of the building. This product can be used within wall and roof applications and is manufactured from polyethylene which provides chemical and environmental crack resistance. The Visqueen Vapour has a vapour resistance of 266 MNs/g which provides a means of protecting the warm side of the thermal insulation incorporated in a building by creating a barrier to the movement of warm, moist air. The Visqueen Vapour check should be installed in accordance with the recommendations of BS5250: 2002 Code of practice for control of condensation in buildings.
